So, Christmas is just around the corner, and by that we mean tomorrow. There’s no doubt that people have been preparing for this all month, and it makes you stop and think. How do I, as someone who vapes, put out a good image for the community and at the same time enjoy my device? It’s a tricky one – there’s not an official rulebook for how to vape with courtesy. However, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the different things that you should consider to make the entire event better for everyone.

Be Polite

Ok, let’s start at the beginning. When vaping, you should be polite. It’s not a complicated rule to follow, but it does involve a bit of common sense. People who smoke regular cigarettes often find themselves stepping outside for their usage, because it’s not nice to expose everyone to that even if they don’t want to be. It’s a similar sort of rule to follow with vaping; only instead of it is because there’s something wrong with vaping. The actual truth is you’re polite. A lot of people work hard all year long to promote vaping as being this great thing, so it would be a real shame to ruin that.

Answer Questions

With the New Year coming up, and families coming together, there’s going to be some questions directed at people who have a vaping device. Now, this can be an excellent opportunity for the community to promote vaping in the best possible light. This situation is no bad thing of course – all press can be good press. However, you’ve just got to make then sure that you’re answering questions in a polite and informative way. Too often people find themselves getting caught up in talking about their device and what it can do, and then less time answering questions. Just make sure you’re giving as much information as people want because the more who come away from conventional cigarettes, the better.

Be Responsible

It’s not always easy to be responsible all the time, but when you’ve got a vaping device at Christmas, the pressure’s kind of on. It’s your job to make sure that your equipment is safely stowed away when not in use, that small hands don’t get access to it, and to make sure that you’re considerate with your vaping. As we keep saying, these are the moments when the entire community is put under the spotlight, and so we all have to put our best foot forward.
