Underage Vaping Concerns – Time For Change

Like most things reserved exclusively for adults, you will occasionally see young people smoking a vape device. It has the same basic appeal as alcohol, regular cigarettes, or recreational drugs. It’s not allowed for them, making it thrilling to try and get them. This idea is not something we agree with in any capacity.

 However, there have been some concerns at the moment regarding vaping and underage users, so rather than try and hide from that, we thought it was probably best to have a stark, honest discussion about the topic.

Vaping – 18+ Only

We sell vaping products. However, we have a strict policy on the age limit. We won’t sell to anybody who is under the age of 18. That is the legal limit for anybody who wants to purchase a vaping device or its associated accessories.

The government decided on this policy, it has been in place the whole time, and 99% of all reputable providers of vaping devices will adhere to these guidelines. However, it is the 1% – the garages, corner shops, and places like that – that won’t follow the rules.

Time For Change and Enforcement?

We will always advocate for a review and crack down on the rules. There is absolutely no reason why vaping shouldn’t be subject to strict rules regarding who can purchase goods and who cannot. If we are going to move into a society where regular cigarettes are phased out and vaping devices are the norm, we need to review the rules. We need to get tougher on those vendors that are breaking the rules. 

If you ask most big brands and shops like ourselves, we will advocate for more strict rules. We don’t want that negative reputation because it’s bad for business. We also have a moral responsibility to safeguard the younger members of society until they are old enough in the eyes of the law to make responsible decisions. 

If you know that your corner shop or local garage is selling these products without permission or selling to underage users, then go ahead and report it. You can do that anonymously, and it might help stop the spread. We don’t want underage vaping users – it’s not good for them, it’s not good for us, and it needs to stop. We fully support stricter rules because we have nothing to fear.

Underage vaping is a problem that has played for the industry for a long time. We want it to stop. If we’re going to become the primary way that people smoke, then there needs to be a review of the rules, and we are 100% on board with that.
